As an athlete, I’ve always really resonated with the verse in the Bible, ‘Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.’ 1Cor 9:24.
At first glance you may think the message means…if I just strive harder, I will succeed! That was my mindset for many years. And spoiler-alert: it didn’t work.
This book is a journal and guide for the journey with Christ. In a similar fashion to the strategy that athletes use ‘cross-training’, this book dives into how cross training brings us into better alignment with God’s plan for our life. In order to gain a competitive advantage, against our enemies we MUST cross-train our minds, like an athlete cross-trains his body.
