Don’t you go another stride in discouragement, Amigo; you were made to fly! The thing about life: you gotta break it or it will break you. Trouble is, most of us spend every ounce of our worth wrestling the equivalent of a strong-willed colt with a tight rope, on a short timeline.
But what if we think of our life like this instead…?
If you told a fish, it’s his job to climb a tree
he would spend his whole life striving miserably!
But, if you were a caterpillar who knew Who planned his life
you wouldn’t waste all your days trying to flailin’ around in strife.

I understand how frustrating it is to look for something and not find it.
I grew up as being ‘The Unheard Kid’ who dealt with confusion, chaos and codependency on the back of half-broke horses.
Honest effort and hours of sitting in the pews at church, and in the bleachers at a horse training clinic – only to have everything go over my head, and pass right through my empty spirit.
Life seems pointless without purpose, and painful without partnership.
I was living life as a fish, trying to learn to climb a tree, until God moseyed into the round pen of my heart; and after that everything changed – and that’s when true transformation began.
I know how important inspiration, education and encouragement are to the transformation process.

The Cross Trained Cowgirl ™ knows that you want to be a horseman. In order to do that,
you need to cross train to transform. The problem is that generalities and ‘layman’s speak’
make you feel very confused and ineffective. I believe that knowing God, can change us. I
understand the pressure to be something you’re not, and the impossibility to get to the
place you feel called to. Which is why I write and create content from the field.
Here’s how we keep growing:

2. Spend time with your horse
3. Spend time with each other
